The Law Firm of Davison, Eastman, Muñoz, Paone P.A. is committed to the communities we serve. Our Partners Dennis M. Galvin and Dan Olszak have been long term supporters of Ocean’s Harbor House.  Mr. Olszak serves on the Board of Directors.

Mr. Galvin has participated for many years in the Harbor House 400 – The Ride for New Beginnings, which is an annual bicycle tour that raises funds to improve Harbor House’s infrastructure. Over the last 20 years, the ride has contributed close to 2 million dollars for this facility. The importance of the ride is more than fund raising as it also shows the children of Harbor House that the community cares about them enough to take on the challenge of the ride.

In past years, the ride has started in some amazing places Annapolis, Maryland, Chincoteague Virginia, Cooper’s Town, New York, and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This year’s ride is a bit of an out and back ride heading to Cape May.

This will be Mr. Galvin’s 17th year riding for this exceptional cause.  But it’s more than riding the ride. In order to cover this distance you need to train year round and that takes critical time. As Dennis explains, “This is a labor of love and it gives me great comfort to know that Ocean’s Harbor House can house many more children on any given night now then when I first started riding.  It is amazing that so many children can be displaced and in need on any given night in Ocean and Monmouth County. Ocean’s Harbor House is the only shelter for children in these locales.”

There are many great causes but Mr. Galvin is confident that his efforts have made a difference and he calls upon others to consider riding or helping Harbor House.

This year’s ride starts on July 11, 2018.  If you would like to donate go to http://www.oceansharborhouse.org/ways-to-help/donate-now/
