Elizabeth M. Trottier

Attorney Liz Trottier is Counsel to the firm and a member of the firm’s Business & Litigation group, specializing in Employment Law, Business Contracts and Litigation.

Liz manages client matters that include:
• Employment Defense
• Contract Review
• Severance Agreements
• Unemployment Appeals

Ms. Trottier grew up in Connecticut and received her Bachelor of Arts from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Upon graduation, Liz moved to New Jersey to secure her Juris Doctorate in law and Master of Arts degrees in international relations and diplomacy from Seton Hall University and Seton Hall Law School. Following graduation from SHU, Liz clerked for the Honorable Margaret Mary McVeigh, presiding Chancery Judge of the Passaic County Superior Court.

Of note: in between semesters attending SHU, Liz spent a summer studying law in Cairo, Egypt, and traveled to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on a service and mission trip to help the poor. She also attended several Preparatory Commissions at the United Nations for the establishment of the International Criminal Court.

Through her law career, Liz has gained practice in a wide range of matters including employment, personal injury, consumer fraud, construction and real estate disputes, probate and estate administration, guardianships, and more.

Liz is a lifetime Girl Scout and a Gold Award honoree. In 2017, she was honored with the Council President’s Award and later that year recognized as a “Phenomenal Woman Under 40.”

Liz resides along the Jersey Shore with her husband, their daughter and family rescue.
