Our 30-year tradition of providing excellent legal service is matched by the commitment that both the firm and all employees have to serving the community.  Throughout the firm’s history there has been a strong feeling of duty to our community both through the firm’s internal charitable foundation and by providing funding for endeavors in the areas where we represent clients. The firm also fosters an environment that encourages individual involvement in charitable endeavors and community service.
Davison Eastman Muñoz Paone Charitable Foundation
The Charitable Fund of Davison, Eastman, Muñoz, Paone, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation established in 2006.  The Charitable Fund is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people by raising funds to directly benefit local individuals and families who are in need or who have suffered a financial or personal hardship.  The Charitable Fund is also committed to supporting local, community-minded charities and non-profit corporations.  Each payroll employee of the firm contributes to the charitable foundation via payroll deductions.  Blake Laurence, Christina Hardman-O’Neal and Jay McGovern are trustees of the firm’s charitable fund.  They are planning an upcoming event and more details will follow.
Autism New Jersey 
Managing Partner, James Paone II, served as Board President of Autism New Jersey and remains active with the organization as an advisor and member of their Golf Committee. The parent of an 18-year-old son with autism, Jim knows firsthand the challenges families face when their child is diagnosed with autism.  Established in 1965, Autism New Jersey connects parents with resources and support at all stages of life, from first diagnosis through school and into adulthood.  Through its four service pillars, Information Services, Education and Training, Public Policy and Awareness, Autism New Jersey helps ensure individuals with autism lead productive and fulfilling lives.  Families looking for support can contact their Helpline at 800.4.AUTISM or visit their website for referrals and information.
New Jersey Red Cross 
The firm was honored to announce that our partner, James “Jay” McGovern, was recently elected Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter and Chairman of the Philanthropy Committee of the American red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter.  The Jersey Coast Chapter provides Disaster Services, Service to the Armed Forces, Blood Services and Health and Safety Services, the mission of the Red Cross, to a population of 1.2 million people in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

United Way of Monmouth and Ocean County   
The firm and its employees have actively been involved in the United Way of Monmouth and Ocean County supporting their annual “Stuff the Bus” campaign to provide school supplies to needy children each summer and the “Warmest Wishes” campaign which provides warm clothing to children in the winter.  Employees give generously in both campaigns and the firm continually surpasses their goals in each campaign as well providing gift cards to help families purchase additional supplies.  Our partner, Robert Bonney, is an active member of the United Way of Monmouth County, having served as Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2011-2013.  Bob continues to serve on many committees and the firm supports the United Way on various levels.
Daniela’s Wish    
Blake Laurence, a partner at the firm, sits on the Board of Daniela’s Wish, a 501(c)(3), which was created by a child wanting to grant wishes to other children in need. Daniela- “My mission is to help other kids smile by granting a wish and giving them something to call their very own, something to play with or hold onto during times of sadness, just to help make them feel like a kid again. Granting Wishes Creating Smiles & Memories. One wish granted can last a lifetime. Together we can all make a difference in a child’s life, one wish can impact so many!   Dreams do come true…”
Daniela’s Wish board members are a group of parents and professionals in our community working as volunteers to raise funds with the goal of making a positive difference in the lives of children. Daniela’s Wish doesn’t just help kids and their families, they help organizations too:  helping United Way, Making Strides for Breast Cancer, Autism Awareness, and families that lost everything or are suffering a tragedy.
Stephy’s Place  
Our partner, Christina Hardman-O’Neal, was instrumental in the development of Stephy’s Place and currently sits on their board as legal advisor. Stephy’s Place was started in the memory of Stephy Hardman Kaminoff, Christina’s sister.  On April 2, 2014 Stephy passed on, leaving her three children in the care of her wonderful sisters.  Stephy’s vision was to provide a space for people (families, children, siblings and parents) who are grieving. People who are suffering from loss, any loss. They too, would have a Place.  A New Life Support Center for Grief and Loss officially opened September 1, 2015. At Stephy’s Place, we offer Support Groups and mindful meditation free of charge. Stephy’s Place is a Not for Profit, 501(c)(3) organization.
Harbor House
Our partners, Dennis M. Galvin and Daniel Olszak, are very involved Ocean’s Harbor House, located in Toms River which is the only shelter exclusively for children in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.  Dan currently serves as a member of their Board of Directors. Dennis has bicycled for 17 years as part of Harbor House’s Ride for New Beginnings which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for this cause.  Dennis will ride once again this year if you would like to support his effort https://ridefornewbeginnings.org/event-info/find-a-participant.  Harbor House is dedicated to assisting homeless, runaway, abused, neglected and abandoned youth, ages 10-21. They provide a safe haven and caring environment for vulnerable youth to enable them to unlock their potential and learn skills that will empower them to build healthier lives, relationships and futures.  Since 1988, Harbor House has helped tens of thousands of children and their families with temporary and transitional housing, counseling and supportive services.
